Great hotel in a really central location in San Miguel. Eduardo, Jesus and Isabel made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble including helping me with my Spanish and we had big hugs when we said goodbye. It can be a tad noisy but you are in a busy town so it was expected and they provide ear plugs (when we arrived I wondered why but at bed time I figured it out). The only downside and this is no criticism of the hotel as they are separate is that the breakfast place you are given vouchers for - Nomada - was very poor. Food was cold on both days and on one day the ‘hot’ cakes were stone cold and the berries on top were frozen. They didn’t seem to care which is bizarre as the Nomada restaurant on google gets great reviews. On the last day we were given vouchers for a cafe round the corner which was superb. I can’t give the team at Casa 88 anything less than five though. Cheers guys!!!
Excellent location, modern and very comfortable place at San Miguel! Everything was within walking distance, unless you are planning to go farther away from downtown, you won’t even need a taxi. They offered us free parking, although is not at the same location, a valet was waiting for us outside the main entrance, we didn’t need our car from our entire trip. We arrived earlier than when we were supposed to check in but they received our bags with no problem at all. Staff was friendly and helpful.
